Well, it has been a while since I have posted anything on my site. My sickness held on to me like you wouldn't believe and I just barely was able to shake it away in time for the holiday. I had a great Halloween. My Heidi was Simba this year, and she is getting the hang of the trick-or-treat deal with getting candy. Her and I went with Denise, Jason, and the boys (Sam, who was evil archmage and Zack, who was clifford) and we got plenty of candy, lol. But the strange thing was that the kids got tired out before us adults did. Now, tell me if you've had that happen before, because I've never heard of a kid saying they have enough candy! And to jump to today, I was on air like you wouldn't believe. People was saying that I was glowing, all smiles. I was just in an awesome mood. And it's been too long since I felt that good about myself. The whole day I was just elated, whew! And on my way home, I had seen two accidents being tended to, causing a little bit of traffic delay, nothing more than the usual. I get home and lay down since I was by myself, and I have a dream of visioning an accident happening right before my eyes. I woke up, and just couldn't go to sleep. But I dismissed it like nothing. I'm sitting here at the computer, looking some stuff up when I get the phone call that Don's sister (who is now 7 months pregnant) got into a T-bone accident. Now, that just freaked me out. Well, her status right now is that she is fine, complaining of lower back pain and hip pain. She had a CAT scan done and stuff, I guess the baby is fine, but they are keeping an eye on her over night to make sure nothing happens, because they are in shock right now. But that was just plain weird, I think what I seen today and in my dream, I wonder if it was telling me that someone I know was going to be in an accident. I know, think me weird, but I think deeply sometimes, LOL. Right now, I am just worried about her and baby AJ. Current Mood: worried

WAKE UP!! Decide to have a good day. "This is the day the Lord hath made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalms 118:24 DRESS UP!! The best way to dress up is to put on a smile. A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks. "The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." I Samuel 16:7 SHUT UP!! Say nice things and learn to listen. God gave us two ears and one mouth, so He must have meant for us to do twice as much listening as talking. "He who guards his lips guards his soul." Proverbs 13:3 STAND UP!! ...for what you believe in. Stand for something or you will fall for anything. "Let us not be weary in doing good; for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good..." Galatians 6:9-10 LOOK UP!! ...to the Lord. "I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13 REACH UP!! ...for something higher. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path." Proverbs 3:5-6 LIFT UP!! ...your Prayers. "Do not worry about anything; instead PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING." Philippians 4:6 A POSITIVE THOUGHT... If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it. If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it. He sends you flowers every spring, and a sunrise every morning. Whenever you want to talk, He'll listen. He could live anywhere in the universe, and He chose your heart. What about the Christmas gift He sent you in Bethlehem; not to mention that Friday at Calvary. Face it, He's crazy about you. ...Author Unknown... Current Mood: calm

Whew! I got more done today than I have in a while. I woke up kinda late this morning, about 11am, and I felt GOOOOD, hehehe. I went to a party for just a couple of hours and then my mom finally came over to help me sort through Heidi's clothes and toys, since the holidays are creeping up on us. Let me tell ya, her room is the cleanest now since before we moved in this past May. And I'm finally getting the laundry caught up again, then later on in the night, Donielle came by to borrow my vacuum to clean her PT Cruiser out a bit, and while she did that, I straightened out most of my garage on one side. Man, I am pooped! But I feel good, REAL good ;) And the best part is that I don't have to be up early to go to work, they wanted me to work evening hours tomorrow night so I can sleep in a little bit, woot! Well, ttyl! Current Mood: accomplished Current Music: nothing
